Which Luxury Car Brands Are Best For Your Pocket?

Must Read

The Indian market is full of Luxury Car Brands, but which ones are the best for your pocket? In this article, we’ll look at BMW, Rolls-Royce, Audi and Mercedes-Benz, as well as their respective prices. This way, you can make the best decision and avoid any unpleasant surprises down the line. However, before we get into the specifics, we should briefly talk about some of the best-selling models of each brand.

Mercedes-Benz

The BMW Group in India has a huge demand for high-end cars. In the last decade, the customer base for luxury cars has changed dramatically. Traditionally affluent families have been replaced by new-age achievers, with a taste for luxury products. In addition, the millennial and generation Z generations have become increasingly technology-savvy, which makes luxury cars a good fit for them. The luxury car market in India is set to continue growing in the coming years, with more consumers embracing luxury brands than ever before.

Audi

While it may be difficult to predict the sales figures for 2022, Audi has been doing well in the country. The company is on track to continue growth in India. The company has recently announced that it is selling 400 cars in the country. Executives believe there is still room for growth in the luxury car segment in India. For this reason, they expect the company to grow by double-digit percentage this year. While the company may not be able to meet demand, it does have a lot of room for expansion.

BMW

After a year of downturn in the Indian luxury car market, the German carmakers are launching new models on a regular basis to attract more volume buyers. In March 2021, BMW narrowed its gap with Mercedes-Benz by 23 units and emerged as the leading seller. But in comparison with the same period a year ago, it dispatched only 826 units. That’s a significant drop of 40%.

Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce is one of the luxury brand cars in India and is planning to sell over 100 cars here in the next decade. Unlike mass-market cars, this brand is unaffected by the volatile fuel prices and high interest rates that plague the mass-car industry in India. Rolls-Royce is currently the biggest seller in the US, followed by China, the UAE, and the UK. But the brand is expecting India to be in the top league of luxury car makers by the end of this decade.

Fiat Punto

The company is present in 23 Indian states, and has 116 outlets. In February, Fiat India launched its compact SUV Avventura at the Auto Expo. Fiat India has a wholly-owned subsidiary in India, and the company is adding new models to its portfolio this year. The company has targeted to introduce five new models by December, and nine by 2016.

Honda Cars

Honda Cars is a subsidiary of Japanese automaker Honda. It was established in 1995 in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Its first model was the City, which has been on sale in India for over two decades. Other models in the Honda range include the Amaze, the Jazz, and the WR-V City. The company also produces the Tapukara in Rajasthan, but will close this plant by the year 2021.

Toyota

The Japanese automaker, Toyota, has a joint venture with Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd to manufacture luxury vehicles in India. The company has nearly 300 dealerships in the country, offering customers a range of sales and service options. Among its many models in India, Toyota offers the Toyota Camry, Land Cruiser, and Lexus. The company is also launching five new models in India, including the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

Volkswagen AG

Founded in the late 1950s, the Volkswagen brand has separated itself from its controversial past to become one of the world’s leading automobile manufacturers. Although best known for its iconic Beetle model, Volkswagen only came to prominence with the introduction of the “VW” brand in the 1960s. Volkswagen is one of the most recognized and admired automobile brands worldwide, and it continues to expand its presence in the Indian market through its Volkswagen AG luxury car brands.
